Nahum Sokolow Lodge

Consecrated 9 March 1930

The Ceremony which followed the Consecration was attended by over 200 people and cost £30!
The Lodge was the only one which owned a horse, apparently lent to a man in need to make for his business. The horse cost £6 an 5 shillings. Dr Nahum Sokolow was initiated into the Lodge on 22 July 1934.
The war years affected adversely affected the Lodge. Over 30% of the Lodge went on active service and a Harry Pocock fell in action at Sidi Rezegh.
